October is Economic and Community Development Month, a time to recognize the vital work being done to foster sustainable growth, create jobs, and strengthen our communities.
In Maryland, this celebration includes the Maryland Economic Development Association’s (MEDA) Economic Development Week, October 20–24, 2025, which highlights the importance of economic development efforts across the state.
