Aspiring and established entrepreneurs are invited to connect, collaborate and explore local business resources during Powering Possibilities: A Night for Entrepreneurs on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM at Garrett College in McHenry.
This FREE networking event is being hosted by Western Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Garrett County Business Development, and Garrett College's Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. The event will take place in Room 111 of the Continuing Education Building at Garrett College, 687 Mosser Road.
Designed for entrepreneurs at all stages, the event will provide an opportunity to learn more about resources available to support business growth in Garrett County. Attendees will learn about local entrepreneurial support services, including the Entrepreneur in Residence Program sponsored by TEDCO, and will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with experienced business consultants to discuss business ideas and pathways to success.
The evening will also offer a preview of upcoming entrepreneurial initiatives, including the Power of Possibilities event planned for spring 2027 and a series of entrepreneurial workforce development workshops scheduled to launch at the beginning of the new year.
Refreshments will be provided, sponsored by Garrett County Business Development, giving attendees an opportunity to build meaningful connections with other members of the local business community.
