Cosmic Cheer recently celebrated the opening of its new location at 452 Weber Road in Oakland with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Garrett County Department of Business Development.
The new location provides Cosmic Cheer with a convenient setting near local schools, along with improved parking and space to accommodate its programs and activities. The studio offers classes for all ages and skill levels, including regular season classes, competitive cheer and dance, tumbling and gymnastics, private lessons, and party rentals.
“When I started Cosmic in 2021, I never imagined how much it would grow or how many families would become part of our Cosmic family," said Hooks. This new location is an exciting step for us and gives us a space that works better for our students and their families. We’re incredibly thankful for the support we’ve received from our community and excited about what’s ahead.”
Founded by Natalie Hooks in 2021, Cosmic Cheer has continued to grow from its beginnings with a focus on cheer and dance. The studio’s programs are designed to help students build confidence, develop new skills, and find their own creativity and self-expression in a supportive environment.
Garrett County Commissioner Larry Tichnell congratulated Cosmic Cheer on its continued growth and investment in the community.
