SCALEUP Maryland™:
SCALEUP Maryland™ is a premier accelerator program, designed to help Maryland-based businesses grow beyond $500K in annual revenue. Presented by bwtech@UMBC Research and Technology Park in partnership with Impact Principals, the program helps CEO's become strategic leaders—empowering them to scale operations, expand markets, and lead high-performing teams. Application Deadline: January 9, 2026.
MD Stem Cell Research Commission:
In the first FY 2026 funding cycle, MSCRF awarded more than $4.7 million to companies and academic institutions across Maryland. This second FY 2026 funding round continues this momentum, balancing support for early-stage discovery and commercialization-ready projects. Application Deadline: January 12, 2026.
Concept Capital Program:
Concept Capital is TEDCO's initiative to bridge the early-stage funding gap for underrepresented entrepreneurs across Maryland. The program was created to provide flexible funding and specialized support to founders, thereby ensuring they are prepared for future venture opportunities. Application Deadline: January 31, 2026.
Technical and Business Assistance (TABA):
The TABA program allows federal agencies to provide funding to SBIR/STTR Phase I and Phase II awardees to enhance their project’s commercialization potential. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
