SBDC to Host Financial Management Workshop for Small Business Owners

The Western Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host an in-person Financial Lunch & Learn for Rural Communities on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the business incubator space located at 20 East Main Street in Frostburg, Maryland.

The workshop will feature a panel discussion focused on helping individuals and businesses in rural communities better understand financial preparedness and access to capital.

Attendees will gain practical insights from financial experts and have the opportunity to ask questions, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and connect with local and regional business resources.

Covered topics will include:

  • Credit Readiness - build strong credit for a stronger financial future
  • Borrowing Preparedness - understand what lenders look for and how to prepare
  • Funding Opportunities - explore funding resources available for rural communities

A complimentary lunch will be provided, along with time for networking before the session.
