Maryland entrepreneurs, business owners, innovators and economic development professionals will have an opportunity to connect, learn and explore new opportunities at TEDCO’s 12th Entrepreneur Expo on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.
The statewide event brings together entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem leaders, international organizations and business support resources for a full day focused on helping companies start, grow and scale. Attendees can participate in workshops and roundtable discussions, hear from industry leaders, watch live startup pitches and connect with exhibitors offering resources for Maryland businesses.
The 2026 event will feature keynote programming, including opening remarks from University System of Maryland Chancellor Jay Perman and a fireside discussion featuring Anirban Basu, chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group, and TEDCO CEO Troy LeMaile-Stovall. A lunchtime fireside discussion will feature Tamla Olivier, president and CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric, alongside LeMaile-Stovall.
The Expo will also feature the third annual Concept Capital Pitch Competition, where eligible companies will compete for $25,000 in funding to advance their ventures. Up to 15 previous Concept Capital recipients will participate in the competition.
The scale of the event reflects the strength of Maryland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The 2025 Entrepreneur Expo attracted more than 1,170 attendees, 112 speakers, 108 exhibitors and 50 startup exhibitors across 23 sessions, providing numerous opportunities for networking and collaboration.
For Garrett County entrepreneurs and businesses, the Expo offers an opportunity to connect with resources and contacts from across the state, learn about emerging business trends and technologies, and build relationships that can support future growth.
