At its public meeting on September 17, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland presented a commendation to Roger Zbel and Warren Wik, recognizing Precision Rafting Expedition, Inc.'s 44th anniversary.
In 1981, Roger Zbel set forth to tame the wild waters of the Miracle Mile of the Upper Youghiogheny River, ushering in decades of fun and enjoyment for all those who visit and call Garrett County home. His contributions to the Friendsville community, advocacy for the local environment, and tireless dedication to customer service have left a lasting legacy that has and will be carried on into the
future through Warren Wik, the company’s new owner.
