The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Garrett County Department of Business Development, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, November 7, 2025, to celebrate the launch of Kim Carter Life Coaching.
Kim Carter Life Coaching is dedicated to empowering individuals and professionals who are ready to build stronger, more fulfilling relationships—both personal and professional. As a certified life coach specializing in relational growth, Kim Carter provides trusted expertise and a supportive, strategy-driven approach to help clients develop clearer communication, deeper connections, and greater self-awareness.

The event was led by Connor Norman, Business Development Specialist and Chair of the Garrett County Diplomats. Local leaders in attendance included Kimberly Govi, Coordinator of Professional Education at Garrett College, and Nick Sharps, President of the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce. Garrett County Diplomats Stephanie Filsinger and Julie Mead also presented Kim Carter with a First Dollar of Profit Certificate and assisted with the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
