Sunrise Sanitation Services and Beitzel Corporation have announced the successful sale and transition of Beitzel Corporation’s 31-acre, 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Bittinger, to Sunrise Sanitation Services, with the transaction facilitated by Rich Orr and Ben Maust of Railey Realty and Jay Ferguson of Taylor-Made Deep Creek Sales.
The purchase represents a shared commitment between two established Garrett County businesses to support continued local growth and strengthen the region’s economic landscape.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve, expand, and meet the needs of our communities,” said Nathan Walter, President and CEO of Sunrise. “Acquiring this facility allows us to add an operations, logistics hub, and HQ. We will also expand on our recycling capabilities, while continuing to invest in the people and communities that have supported us for nearly five decades.”
Beitzel Corporation, a locally owned and operated company known for its diversified industrial services, saw the transition as a natural opportunity to support regional development.
