The Garrett County Commissioners recently issued a proclamation recognizing O.M.G. Relax for five years of business, honoring the locally owned wellness business for its commitment to helping residents and visitors prioritize relaxation, health, and self-care.
Presented through the Garrett County Milestone Recognition Program, the proclamation celebrates O.M.G. Relax's contributions to Garrett County's small business community, tourism economy, and overall quality of life.
Owned by Randy and Christine Anderson, O.M.G. Relax was established in 2021 after the couple's successful tenure as owners of the popular Music Cafe in Damascus, Maryland. Drawing on years of experience in hospitality and customer service, the Andersons brought their passion for creating memorable experiences to Deep Creek Lake by creating a business focused on wellness and rejuvenation.
Over the past five years, O.M.G. Relax has evolved from offering innovative touchless massage therapy into a destination for relaxation and wellness. The business continues to expand its services while providing a welcoming environment that promotes physical and mental well-being for residents and visitors alike.
"Opening O.M.G. Relax allowed us to combine our passion for serving people with our belief that everyone deserves time to recharge and care for themselves," said co-owner Christine Anderson.
