The Garrett County Commissioners, alongside the Department of Business Development, presented Cosmic Studios with a milestone proclamation in recognition of the business’s 5th anniversary.
Founded with a passion for inspiring and empowering young girls through cheer, dance, and choreographed movement clinics, Cosmic Studios has become a positive and encouraging presence within the Garrett County community. Over the past five years, the studio has created opportunities for youth to build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and creativity while fostering an environment centered on support, growth, and achievement.
The proclamation recognized the studio’s dedication to youth development and the arts, noting the meaningful impact Cosmic Studios has made on countless families throughout the region.
Owner Natalie Hooks expressed gratitude for the recognition and community support. “It has been such a rewarding experience to watch our students grow both on and off the stage over the past five years,” Hooks said. “We are incredibly thankful for the families and community members who have supported Cosmic Studios from the very beginning.”
Commissioner Paul Edwards praised the studio’s contributions to the county’s youth and community spirit. “Cosmic Studios has created a positive space where young people can develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills,” Edwards said. “We are proud to celebrate this milestone and recognize the impact they’ve made throughout Garrett County.”
Manager of Business Development Kim Durst also commended the business for its continued growth and dedication. “Small businesses like Cosmic Studios play an important role in strengthening our communities,” Durst said. “Reaching five years in business is an exciting achievement, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in the years ahead.”
