Our business promotion initiatives include:
- Business B.E.A.R. Podcast
The sole purpose of the Business B.E.A.R. podcast, sponsored and produced by Garrett County Business Development, is to market, support, and highlight Garrett County's many businesses and nonprofit organizations in 15- to 30-minute interview sessions
The podcast will also feature our partner organizations and agencies, such as the Small Business Development Center, the Maryland Department of Commerce, the Western Maryland Consortium, Garrett College, etc.
- Business Spotlight Program
A Business Spotlight highlighting a local business and its services will be shared each business day on our social media and marketing platforms. Participating businesses and nonprofit organizations will receive a no-cost ad, generated by Garrett County Business Development, which will contain links to the business/organization websites, contact information, addresses, and social media to help drive attention and traffic to the business/organization featured
The Business Spotlight Program will be an ongoing economic and business development initiative offered to all Garrett County businesses and nonprofit organizations. There is no charge to participate in the program.
- Business Milestone Program
Your business milestones, grand openings, ribbon cuttings, expansions, and anniversaries are a BIG DEAL, and we want to help you celebrate them!
