The Frostburg Outdoor Recreation Economy Institute (FOREI) will host a powerful, interactive workshop that blends leadership development with resilience training - designed to help individuals thrive in both challenging and everyday moments.
In this two-hour workshop, the core principles of resilience and authentic leadership will be explored through engaging discussions and a hands-on, adventure-based experience that brings the lessons to life. Together, practical tools for building mental fitness, strengthening leadership presence, and applying resilience strategies in real-world situations will be examined.
For those who want to go deeper, FOREI is also offering an optional four-week virtual follow-up course. This series of one-hour Zoom sessions will provide continued structure and accountability, offering a supportive space to share successes, navigate challenges, and refine an individual's practice of resilience leadership.
This workshop is open to the public and is designed for students, emerging leaders, and anyone seeking to strengthen their ability to lead with clarity, adaptability, and confidence.
Choose from one of the three workshop sessions offered on October 16, 2025 - 9 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM.
The workshops are free. Advance registration is required. REGISTRATION LINK.
